Joe began training as a dancer at the age of 6, and then went on to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC.
As a member of Actor’s Equity, his credits include the International touring company of “West Side Story” as well as productions of “A Chorus Line”, “ Grease”, “The Music Man”, “Anything Goes” and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”.
As a SAG member, his TV credits include roles on “Law & Order”, “NYPD Blue”, ” The Sopranos”, “Sex and the City”, “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, “Geraldo” and ABC’s “The Next Best Thing”. He can be seen in many feature films including ”Scent of a Woman”, “Carlito’s Way”, “The Pelican Brief”, “The Associate” and “The Mirror Has Two Faces” with Barbra Streisand!
Joe had the incredible opportunity appearing as Joan Rivers WITH Joan Rivers at a major event in Houston, Texas. Another thrilling moment was working opposite Susan Lucci on “All My Children” as Erica Kane along side her!
On the Cabaret scene, Joe has appeared at NYC’s: Don’t Tell Mama, Rose’s Turn, The Blue Angel, The Triad and The Supper Club. He has also performed at many reputable club and nightclub venues.
Other notable venues include: Club Cafe, Post Office Cabaret, The New Crown & Anchor, and LaTeDa. Joe has performed in “An Evening at La Cage,” with productions in Las Vegas, Aruba, St. Martin and NYC. Joe co-starred and co-wrote “Guys As Dolls”, which ran in Provincetown, MA for six successful seasons.
Joe’s new show, “Joe Posa Poses: the Man behind the Women” is currently playing to Rave Reviews both Nationally and Internationally, including recent performances on board the Luxurious sailing Ship “Wind Star” from Rome to Athens, and the Luxury Yacht “Le Diamant” through the Baltic Sea.
His work also includes numerous Commercial and Industrial shows throughout the U.S. and abroad including The National Cancer Institute’s Evening at The Philadelphia Museum of Fine Arts, The Men’s Event and Community Serving’s, Boston, MA, The PAWS Event, Albany, NY, to name a few.
Joe feels extremely fortunate for his professional endeavors, and for the many people he’s met along the way. He would like to thank his Dear friends, and Loving family for their continuing support.
